The Founder of World Heritage Cultural Center, Sattie Persaud had the opportunity to participate with 50 members from around the globe in the Cambridge Policy Boot Camp, addressing: “How can Sweden transition to healthier and more sustainable consumption patterns amongst adolescents?”
Ms. Persaud’s team consisted of participants from Japan, the US, Indonesia, and Sweden. We worked together to find an answer to this complex question. After 3 interactive work-sessions, all teams presented their impressive ideas.
Julia Forsberg pitched our idea to the jury which consisted of experts from academia, the private sector, and organizations like OECD – OCDE and WBCSD – World Business Council for Sustainable Development – to name a few! And we won!
The most exciting part of it all is that we will get to present our idea to the State Secretary of Regeringskansliet, Näringsdepartementet. If we are successful, we’ll be invited to be part of the policy design team.
A big thanks to EAT and the University of Cambridge for hosting the event. I also want to thank my great team members; Julia Forsberg, Eric Grankvist, Jin Tanaka, and Lady Zaenab Miftadi!
