World Heritage Cultural Center Hosts Its 291st World of Colors Concert in Sandy Hook, CT

Sandy Hook, CT – The World Heritage Cultural Center (WHCC) is thrilled to announce the 291st World of Colors Concert, marking a historic milestone as it will be the very first concert held in the vibrant community of Sandy Hook, CT. This highly anticipated event, in partnership with Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP), highlights our shared commitment to celebrating humanity through arts and food, bringing together diverse cultures in a joyful and colorful experience for the community.

The concert will take place as part of WHCC’s inaugural outdoor International Food and Music Festival, set to be an extraordinary gathering for families and individuals of all ages. By collaborating with SHOP, we aim to create a memorable experience that honors our rich cultural heritage while fostering community ties.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chief Anthony Capozziello of the Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company for his generosity in providing WHCC the opportunity to use their backyard as the venue for this momentous occasion. Their support underscores the spirit of community and collaboration that is essential for making this festival a success.

Our appreciation also goes out to Michael Burton, the president of SHOP, whose relentless efforts since the 1980s have been instrumental in revitalizing the Sandy Hook Village community and business district. His commitment to marketing, business growth, philanthropy, advocacy, and arts & culture initiatives has laid a strong foundation for our community, making events like the World of Colors Concert possible.

The festival is not just an event-it is an embodiment of Founder Sattie Persaud’s vision to celebrate the spirit of Humanity through arts and food from around the world. Together, we aim to create an inclusive environment that fosters understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures.

Join us in Sandy Hook for this landmark concert, where music and food will blend to create unforgettable memories.
